For management consulting firms, MRG has provided contingency search services and full life cycle recruiting for candidates ranging in level from Analyst/Consultant to Managing Director/Partner. 

As a full life cycle recruiter for a big 5 consulting firm, MRG worked with partners across functions to meet demanding recruiting targets quickly and effectively.  MRG advised on key recruiting metrics and standards to ensure efficiency within the recruiting organization.

Interim Management

The length of MRG's interim management assignments has varied from six months to six years. We have provided executives who performed the roles of president, general manager, and senior marketing officer for a number of clients.

MRG was selected by a large international company to provide a chief marketing and sales officer for a start-up business in its most important market. MRG prepared and implemented a complete marketing and sales program for the business and operated an office for the business under the client's own identity.

For a large resort hotel, MRG provided an executive who, on a part-time basis, performed the role of president of an international sales and marketing company with approximately twenty full-time employees.

MRG provided an executive who created an organization of seven people to plan and eventually manage the hotel operations of a unique new business. The executive, acting as general manager of the organization, worked half time for over eighteen months.

Marketing Research

MRG was selected to conduct two separate feasibility studies for new excursion trains to be operated between Los Angeles and Las Vegas and between Orlando and Miami. MRG compiled and analyzed secondary data/research from various sources. We also prepared an RFP, evaluated various potential vendors, and then managed the activities of a market research firm that conducted focus groups, personal interviews, and telephone surveys.

MRG conducted a mail survey of U.S. households with a net worth of $5 million or more in order to evaluate interest in and to project demand for full and fractional ownership of apartments on a new cruise ship.

Strategic Planning

MRG was requested to study a business that was not producing the profits expected by its absentee owners. With documentation showing the business had good potential, MRG presented a comprehensive plan to rebuild the business. MRG was retained to recruit new management and to assist them in implementing the MRG plan of corrective action.

MRG was asked by the board of directors of a public company to analyze all aspects of its operations and to recommend how it could improve its financial performance. MRG provided a report comparing the company's strategies, programs, and financial performance to its key competitors. MRG also identified three strategic options for redirecting the business to capitalize on the company's strengths.

For investment companies, MRG has analyzed various start-up and acquisition opportunities. For advertising agencies, MRG has assisted with the preparation of new business presentations.
